Ponderosa (El Eden)

Beginner

Full of light effects and with a huge cavern area, "El Eden" reaches one of the densest haloclines in the area. It is spectacular for a first cenote experience, crossing from Ponderosa to the Corral cenote. Having a large open area, it is also perfect for snorkeling with non-diving companions.

Taj-Maha

Intermediate

Four connected cenotes in a single dive make it one of the most varied. Upon reaching the halocline and passing through different unique areas, it is the ideal place to fall in love with the magic of cenotes. Requires good buoyancy control, as you will be changing depth constantly.

The Pit

Beginner

Impressive 35m dive with three layers of water (fresh, salt, and a hydrogen sulfide cloud at the bottom). It has a trapped fallen tree that gives the feeling of a forest with fog at night. Its gigantic cavern and stalactites on the ceiling make it very easy for a first experience as there are no tight spaces.

  • Combines perfectly with Dos Ojos

Dos Ojos

Beginner

Probably the most famous, and with good reason! It offers two dives (Bat Cave & Barbie Line). One with natural laser beams and tunnels that give a cave diving sensation, and the Bat Cave with thousands of stalactites. If you do the combo with The Pit, you choose which line to do as your second dive.

Dreamgate

Advanced

One of the most decorated with speleothems. It is an advanced dive as perfect buoyancy control is essential; thousands (or millions) of very fragile stalactites cover the cavern ceiling. It has two lines, but with good air consumption both can be done on a single tank.

Casa Cenote

Beginner

Open cenote with a cavern area under the mangroves. It offers a unique environment connected to the ocean, so it's not uncommon to see marine life, diving birds, schools of tarpon, and even the famous crocodile "Pancho". Incredible light effects and halocline at shallow depth thanks to its proximity to the sea.
